Your Cat Shack opened its doors on 1 April 2016 by Yvonne Rabeling, animal lover extraordinaire.
In March 2020, on hearing the cattery was up for sale, Shawn, the new owner, resigned from his day job to take over and run Your Cat Shack full time. Shawn has no staff on board and personally takes care of all the cats at the cattery.
Both Shawn and his partner, Natanya, are passionate about animals and have many happy, spoiled companion animals of their own.
